Our main products are tubular tyres and tubular tyres for clincher rims (tubular clinchers). Construction of both types is essentially the same, consisting of closed tubular toroid. Difference is only in the installation of the tyre on the rim.


The base tape is made of cotton. It absorbs the glue evenly, resulting in optimal bond between the rim and the tyre.

Tread – produced either with rubber compound of activated silica, silica, silica + VP Si 363 or carbon black (specified for each model).

Protective rubber ply – located underneath the tread, indicates also tyre wear and higher possibility of punctures when showing through the tread (only in specified models).

Puncture proof ply – made of rubber cord composite with the cord angle very close to the direction of the tyre circumference, also decreases rolling resistance and increases power transfer (only in specified models).

The carcass plies are overlapped and joined underneath the threads, creating increased TPI (threads per inch) value and better tyre puncture resistance.


The carcass consists of two layers of rubber cord composite with reverse bearing cord orientation in each layer, joined with natural rubber matrix strengthened with silica. The carcass TPI varies from 60 to 210 for different tyre models.

Inside airtight layer is made of a special butyl-rubber compound. Very low air permeability of this layer means long intervals between tyre inflations. Solid bond between the airtight layer and the tyre carcass means lower rolling resistance.

The bead profile reinforcement of tubular clincher tyres provides easy tyre installation and prevents the tyre from unseating in extreme situations.

The bead profile itself copies the shape of the rim and after inflation provides a perfect joint between them. Also protects the rim lips from damage.


We have developed special double sided tubular gluing tape for installing our tubulars on any tubular rim. This tape is very different from all the similar products on the market. When using our tape, installation of the tubular is fast, safe and very clean. Right after the installation, your wheels are ready for riding, no need to wait for the glue to set.

The tape consists of a few layers, every layer has its function the tape has a specific rim side and tyre (tubular) side.

Three stepped off layers of the gluing tape with active surface make perfect transition between the rim and tubular profiles.

Thin transparent layer for perfect adhesion to carbon and aluminium alloy rims.


When inflated, the tubular clincher, in the same way as a tubular, is pressed towards the rim. Simultaneously, the bead blocks of the profiled rubber band spread out embedding on the rim shoulders and eliminating any rotation of the tubular clincher against the rim as well as possibility of the tubular clincher unseating. The bottom profiled bead band does not function only as a filling in the area between the rim and the tubular clincher but also plays an active role. As the tubular clincher is inflated, the band sides literally “bite” into the rim shoulders.

This is the major difference from all previous unsuccessful experiments of other tire manufacturers, where the bottom rubber band was in fact only a passive filling between the rim and the tire.

Benefits of our tubular clincher:

  • high inflation pressures – up to 15 bars (220 psi) without any damage to the rim walls, even in a case when the rim manufacturer specifies lower inflation pressures (the pressure is contained inside the tubular clincher and does not affect the rim walls)
  • same riding quality as with tubulars
  • safe handling in case of punctures, the stability of a rider is not affected
  • in case of emergency, the tubular clincher can be ridden flat
  • the fastest and easiest installation and dismantling without any tools

A durable tread compound that has proven its quality for years. This standard compound with a high content of Carbon black quarantees very good mileage for road tubulars, durability and puncture resistance in certain cyclo-cross tubulars and low weight for selected track tubulars.

We use this high performance road racing tread compound in the majority of our road tubulars. With 66 Shore A hardness this well-balanced blend of synthetic and natural rubbers with Activated Silica filler provides tubulars with excellent wet grip and low rolling resistance.

This natural rubber based compound with Activated Silica offers lower rolling resistance than SPC. The softer 63 Shore A hardness compound used in Calibra road tyres is the key factor for speed, ride comfort and predictable cornering. Despite its softness the LPS Silica compound also gives very good mileage to our road tyres.
Thanks to its natural rubber and Activated Silica blend excels especially at low temperature and provides our Flexus cyclocross tubulars with a supple ride and an unbeatable grip on snow and ice.

This is an indoor wooden track specific compound for extra speed, grip and quick handling. Not suitable for wet conditions.

A soft compound (60 Shore A) developed for MTB cross country and marathon tubulars. Adding a reasonable amount of oil to a polymer blend with Activated Silica improves traction and reduces rolling resistance. Reasonable tread wear.

A compound for indoor sports on wooden or plastic floors. Used in Cycle-ball, Artistic cycling and wheelchairs sports tubulars for excellent traction and quick handling. Manufactured in many colours including black, this compound doesn’t leave any colour marks on floors. Not suitable for wet conditions.

A very light rubber/polyester composite antipuncture layer. This is used in Calibra tyres to enhance sidewall durability.

A specially formulated slippery sidewall strip protects the most vulnerable part of certain MTB tubulars. This special sidewall strip allows the tubular to slide off sharp edges without damaging the tyre carcass.

CRCA is a special composite material, by means of which the high modulus long aramid fibres are introduced into the tyre carcass during the technological process.
CRCA increases the puncture resistance and total carcass strength.
CRCA improves riding comfort and decreses vibrations.
