TR Tyre

The current standard for professional pelotons. Tubeless tyres combine the advantages of tubular tyres and tube systems – they offer low rolling resistance, greater riding comfort thanks to lower pressures, and significantly reduce the risk of punctures thanks to the use of sealant.

Gravel Tyre

Gravel as a phenomenon of modern cycling. Tubeless gravel tyres have become standard thanks to their ability to combine the best of road and MTB technologies – they allow lower pressures for greater comfort and traction on rough terrain, minimize the risk of punctures thanks to sealant, and maintain low rolling resistance. The growing popularity of gravel stems from its versatility – one tyre, many surfaces, the freedom to discover new paths off the beaten track.

MTB Tyre

MTB as the essence of technical off-road riding. Tubeless MTB tyres have become the gold standard for modern trail and racing riding – they allow significantly lower pressures for maximum grip, eliminate most punctures thanks to sealant, and reduce weight compared to tube systems. The popularity of MTB continues to grow thanks to technical advances in bikes and components.

Road Tyre

A proven classic with easy maintenance and wide availability. The tube tyre remains a reliable solution for training and racing, especially where easy replacement and field service are priorities. Although it does not have the lowest rolling resistance or weight of a tubular or tubeless system, it is the ideal choice for everyday use, where reliability and versatility are key.

Tubular

The undisputed benchmark for safety and reliability in racing conditions. Thanks to its rim-less design, there is no risk of the tyre coming off in the event of a puncture – you can be sure of control and a safe finish at crucial moments. It remains one of the lightest solutions with minimal rolling resistance and excellent acceleration. The choice for those who don't want to take any risks.

TUFO Technology

Carbon Black

A durable tread compound that has proven its quality for years. This standard compound with a high content of Carbon black quarantees very good mileage for road tubulars, durability and puncture resistance in certain cyclo-cross tubulars and low weight for means of which the high modulus long aramid fibres are introduced into the tyre carcass during the technological process. CRCA increases the puncture resistance and total carcass strength. CRCA improves riding comfort and decreses vibrations. In all models.

Oil Silica

A soft compound (60 Shore A) developed for MTB cross country and marathon tubulars. Adding a reasonable amount of oil to a polymer blend with Activated Silica improves traction and reduces rolling resistance. Reasonable tread wear.

Side Skin

A very light rubber/polyester composite antipuncture layer. This is used in Calibra tyres to enhance sidewall durability.

TUFO Aramid Beads

Aramid beads developed for tubeless-ready tires with focus on safety. The beads are specially treated to adhere and stay firmly fixed inside.

SPC Silica

We use this high performance road racing tread compound in the majority of our road tubulars. With 66 Shore A hardness this well-balanced blend of synthetic and natural rubbers with Activated Silica filler provides tubulars with excellent wet grip and low rolling resistance.

BIC Silica

A compound for indoor sports on wooden or plastic floors. Used in Cycle-ball, Artistic cycling and wheelchairs sports tubulars for excellent traction and quick handling. Manufactured in many colours including black, this compound doesn’t leave any colour marks on floors. Not suitable for wet conditions.

LPS Silica

This natural rubber based compound with Activated Silica offers lower rolling resistance than SPC. The softer 63 Shore A hardness compound used in Calibra road tyres is the key factor for speed, ride comfort and predictable cornering. Despite its softness the LPS Silica compound also gives very good mileage to our road tyres. Thanks to its natural rubber and Activated Silica blend excels especially at low temperature and provides our Flexus cyclocross tubulars with a supple ride and an unbeatable grip on snow and ice.

Sidewall Protection

We implemented sidewall protection in our Gravel and XC range. A layer of nylon fabric on the sidewalls provides additional protection and stability at low pressures.

NAN Silica

This is an indoor wooden track specific compound for extra speed, grip and quick handling. Not suitable for wet conditions.

Puncture Barrier Standard

Our standard puncture barrier is made of an additional layer of rubberized carcass placed under the tread. It provides adequate protection along with good rolling resistance.

Grip Silica Tread Compound

Specially developer tread compound with nanostructure silica-treated rubber using advanced mixing technology. The main advantage of this compound is its adhesion. This mixture is further divided into other variants, each specially modified for different disciplines.

Tubeless Ready Compound

Our standart TR mixture with nano blocks prevents gas permeability. The tubeless-ready tire features an airtight rubber compound incorporated directly into the tire carcass, which holds air pressure.

Liquid Rubber Compound

Made with exceptional care using liquid rubber and nanostructured silica. This advanced carcass compound, with low hysteresis, is incorporated into Tufo’s high-end road tyres.

Low Modulus Compound

The low modulus combined with high tensile strength gives this compound excellent performance for road and track cycling.

Puncture Barrier Vectran™

The most durable material in our portfolio. A puncture barrier made from Vectran – a liquid crystal polymer {LCP} that is five times stronger than steel. It is the perfect protection against punctures, cuts and breakthroughs.

Puncture Barrier Kevlar®

Based on our development, we add this Kevlar material to selected Tufo road models. Its excellent resistance to breakage, combined with a flexible structure, optimizes durability, comfort, handling, and rolling resistance.
